We will make films, and I will be with you”, he states. Besides the fieldwork of the shootings, for which the students will have at their disposal a complete production dossier with casting, locations and permissions, there will be dialogue sessions with the filmmaker to discuss creation and personal inquiries regarding the art of film.

Today, on Wednesday, the 4th of November 1981, shortly after twelve noon, we got the ship from the Río Camisea over a mountain into the Río Urubamba. All that is to be reported is this: I took part.” Werner Herzog.

And you? Will you take part?

Join the adventure

For 10 days, 48 young filmmakers will be submerged in the density and mysterious of the Peruvian Amazonas guided by one of the most polemic and adventurous filmmakers of all times, and the one who knows the jungle best.

Each participant will develop a short piece under the guidance and supervision of Werner Herzog. The process of creation will go from the conception of the idea, to the script, the casting, the location scouting, directing, designing image and sound, and editing.
